Steve Foresman
Performing over 100 shows per year, Steve Foresman, appearing solo or with The Steve Foresman Band, has become the gold standard in the Michiana area for live music performance.
His impeccable vocal style and his striking guitar technique are immediately recognizable. Whether he’s wailing out a full-tilt rocker on his electric guitar or singing a moody ballad with that patented velvet baritone, no one delivers from the stage quite like Steve. His stagecraft and sound, honed over 10 years of constant performance, are the envy of many area musicians.
Steve Foresman’s songwriting prowess shined in his recent contribution to the Brand New Day compilation CD: “Been Borrowed” was a standout both on the CD and at the Michiana Songwriter’s Revue’s concert.
Steve’s calendar is usually booked many months ahead because he and his band are in such high demand at clubs and music venues in the region
Angie Foresman
Keyboard & Vocals
Angie began playing keyboards in a band with Steve and Byron when she was a senior in high school. After that she attended Indiana University where she was a Singing Hoosier for several years. She got her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Loyola University in Chicago in 1996, and in the same year married Steve.
It took a few more years before Steve convinced her to join the band again in 1998, singing and playing keyboards.
Angie & Steve had their first son in February 2005. They also had twin girls in October 2006, and are keeping very busy. Because of this, Angie continues to play occasionally in the band.
Mike Eberly
Bass
After a life long love for music and playing guitar as a "fill-in" guitar player, Mike was brought out of "retirement” by long-time friend Tommy Thompson of The Benders. Tommy called one day out of the blue and asked if he was interested in playing bass. Up to this point he had never thought about being a bass player. But, after looking over a very empty schedule book, he agreed … and has never looked back since.
Mike played with The Benders for four years, providing a solid foundation with a simple, yet stylistic approach. He now has been playing with Steve since March 2008.
